Using Yoono Desktop!

yoono desktop suppported services
In the course of searching for a good desktop client to organize my social site and chat clients, I came a cross a number of platforms, among them, I tried out Seesmic (uses Adobe Air). I didn't like it because it only supports two social networks, Facebook and Twitter, no any chat client like Y!Messenger, GTalk, Live etc. I then tried out Digsby, I liked it very much, until yesterday when I came across Yoono Desktop and decided to try it out.

Results?
Totally unremarkable.

First off, I needed a client that could not only integrate the major social networks and chat services together, I also needed a wider platform for a better view. Yoono Destop did that for me. It's memory usage is also not bad compared to the noisy Digby.

With Yoono Desktop I am able to:

- Cancel updates that I have already read, thus making it cleaner and ready for the new updates from my friends circle.
- Manage friend's updates in such a way that I can control who's updates should show up and whom I should mute.
- Manage number of updates per day, say, if I don't want to see all the updates from everybody, I can limit them to only 50 or 100 or 200.

Yoono Desktop is a stand alone client, that means, it does not require installation not even using the common Adobe Air.
As seen on the screen shot below, Yoono Deskot incorporate not only Facebook and Twitter but also Y!Messenger, GTalk, iMeem, Myspace, Live, Flickr etc.

Yoono Desktop is my choice for now until another killer platform outperforms it.
Try it out and share the experience! Have fun! yoono.com/desktop
